Leona Hu is the Managing Director at EquitiesFirst.
Leona is primarily responsible for the development and management of strategic relationships with external partners across the Greater China region.
With nearly 20 years of experience in China’s financial services and investment banking sectors, Leona’s area of expertise includes IPOs and equity financing, mergers and acquisitions and debt financing.
Before joining EquitiesFirst, Leona held leadership positions at Goldman Sachs and UBS Securities. She also worked at Ernst & Young earlier in her career. Leona is a member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA). She holds an MBA from Tsinghua University and a Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management and Insurance from Nankai University, China.
Leona is based in the Beijing office in China.
