Dong-Lyul Lee is the Executive Director and Head of Sales, South Korea at EquitiesFirst.
Dong-Lyul is responsible for overseeing the firm’s strategic relationships with corporates, institutions and high-net-worth individuals in the South Korean market.
With more than 30 years of experience, Dong-Lyul brings deep industry knowledge and expertise in financial markets and products, including equities, bonds, derivatives and structured products, with a primary focus on asset-backed financing.
Prior to joining EquitiesFirst, Dong-Lyul was a senior sales advisor at Shinhan Financial Investment. He began his career at SK Securities and has worked for respected global institutions, namely Citibank, Salomon Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch. He has also served as Head of Private Banking Group at NH Investment & Securities. Dong-Lyul earned his PhD in business administration from Soongsil University. He also holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in economics from Yonsei University and Korea University respectively.
Dong-Lyul is based in the Seoul office in South Korea.
